GC SUNS player Alex Sexton attended the relay for life in support of Deputy Mayor Donna Gates and her team “Team Gates”. Alex was able to meet some of the ever inspiring Cancer Survivors and Carers who attended the afternoon/evening before flying out early the next morning for his gruelling pre season training camp in Arizona.
Even through the strong winds and impending rain the event was a big success with over 48 teams participating to show their support. The GC SUNS were proud to be apart of this great cause and we look forward to attending it again next year.
