2012 Gold Coast SUNS match day members will be rewarded with free entry to Friday night's NAB Cup game against 2011 Premiers, the Geelong Cats at Metricon Stadium as the GC SUNS celebrate breaking through the 10,000 member mark.

GC SUNS CEO, Travis Auld said the Club wanted to reward members for showing their commitment as the team enters it's second season in the big time.

"On Friday night we will celebrate reaching the 10,000 member milestone and what better way to thank you than providing match day members free entry to the first ever Friday night game at Metricon Stadium."

Auld said the Club had been in constant discussion with the AFL in an effort to allow match day members free entry entitlements to the AFL event as a thank you.

"We have held several discussions with the AFL in a bid to negotiate this one off reward for match day members.

"I know personally from talking to our players, particularly our younger guys, how much your support means to them as they strive to improve every week. It makes them very proud to represent this Club and our community.

"Everyone at the Gold Coast SUNS genuinely values the support we receive from you as we continue on this journey together," said Auld.

To gain access to the game, simply scan your membership card at the gate. If you have not yet received your card, visit the Membership Services team outside Gates 1 or 3 (any time from 6pm).
