The Gold Coast SUNS this week saw close to 50 of its players, head out to local Junior clubs, to encourage and support the next generation of juniors to Play AFL.

The club who work closely with the AFL Gold Coast Junior league, were keen to get out into the Community to support the wonderful work the local clubs do.

The afternoon visits involved players taking coaching clinics, assisting with training, signing autographs and having photos taken with many young fans and members.

The most encouraging sign that the players were well received, was the increasing number of red and yellow Gold Coast SUNS jumpers that greeted the players as they arrived.

And for some of the young Gold Coast SUNS players, this was the first time they have ventured out to a junior club to host a coaching clinic and the experience was a very enjoyable one that they look forward to in the near future.

The Gold Coast SUNS as part of their support of Junior Football in the coming weeks will also provide each Junior club with an authentic signed Gold Coast SUNS jumper to frame or fundraise with for 2011.
