The Gold Coast SUNS have joined forces with the Gold Coast Community Fund, the Gold Coast Bulletin, and Movie World to form the White Christmas Stocking Fund.
The initiative, launched last Tuesday, will run for six weeks. Money donated to the Fund will help provide a brighter Christmas for struggling Gold Coast families.
As part of the Fund’s launch GC SUNS player Karmichael Hunt met with two year-old Jack Lenehan.
Jack’s mobility is severely restricted due to spinal muscle dystrophy.
The Gold Coast Community Benefit Fund was able to help Jack’s family by part paying for a customised motorised wheelchair.

Donations to the White Christmas Stocking Fund will go towards the Gold Coast Community Fund, youth homelessness and domestic violence programs on the Gold Coast and initiatives designed to promote community involvement on the Gold Coast’s Northern Growth Corridor.
