Voting is now open for the Austworld Player of the Round after the win over North Melbourne at Metricon Stadium.

It was a whole-team performance but there were some standout individuals who had a major impact on the match.

Ben Ainsworth had arguably his best game of his career to date, leading the SUNS with 23 disposals, 11 marks, 15 score involvements and a goal.

Silky forward Izak Rankine was involved in everything early and trailed Ainsworth with nine score involvements, while also having 13 disposals and a goal.

Rising midfielder Noah Anderson continued his outstanding debut season, finishing with 23 disposals and a goal.

In the midfield, Hugh Greenwood did what he’s done best all season, leading all players on the ground with seven clearances to go with 23 disposals and seven tackles. 

Vice-captain Touk Miller was as reliable as ever, finishing with 23 disposals and five clearances.

Alex Sexton was impressive in the forward line after returning to the team this week, booting four goals.
