Earning the maximum 10 coaches votes in his milestone match, Touk Miller has leapfrogged into sixth position on the overall leaderboard for the 2022 AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award.

The Gold Coast SUNS Co-Captain was prevalent across four quarters against North Melbourne in game 150, accumulating 32 disposals, five marks, eight tackles and 13 clearances.

Fellow midfielder Matt Rowell was viewed by the coaches as second most influential, earning himself seven votes in exchange for his 25 touches, 11 tackles and 9 clearances.

A career-best performance from Connor Budarick was enough to turn heads, with six coaches votes. 

The defender finished with 25 disposals, an equal club record 15 intercept possessions and six rebound 50s.

Izak Rankine continued to build on form from recent weeks in the forward line, resulting in five votes in the AFLCA rankings.

A two goal haul complimented his 16 disposals at 75% efficiency, four inside 50s and single goal assist.

Experienced campaigner David Swallow also finished with two AFLCA votes to his name after 22 touches, seven clearances and a goal.
