Kade Kolodjashnij will play no further part in the side’s match against Richmond at the MCG.
The 2015 Club Champion runner-up suffered a knock to the back of his head in the midst of a marking contest.
He was immediately attended to by the club medical staff and stretched from the field.
Pleasingly, the club can confirm Kolodjashnij is alert and talking in the rooms- accompanied by his brother Jake.
He will require precautionary scans. The club will provide a full injury update once available.
