The Gold Coast SUNS have named a 34-man squad to tackle Melbourne and the Brisbane Lions in Saturday nights NAB Cup opener at Metricon Stadium.
The GC SUNS have named seven new faces with Jaeger O’Meara to play his first game, along with Queenslanders Jackson Allen and Alex Sexton.
Joining them in the squad are fellow new faces, Aaron Hall and Kyal Horsley as well as former Saint Andrew McQualter and Demon Matthew Warnock.
The GC SUNS will name a 22-man team to play Melbourne in the first match and can then select another 22-man team to play the Lions from the initial 34-man squad.
