Gold Coast has made two changes to their side for Saturday afternoon's game against the GWS Giants at Spotless Stadium.
Jack Leslie and Brad Scheer have been named as replacements for injured duo Steven May and Aaron Hall.
Leslie returns for his third game of the season and will line up in defence against the Giants.
The loss of the skipper is a blow, but Senior Coach Stuart Dew talked of the opportunities that it presents to other players.
“He’ll (May) be a loss but that creates opportunity, so Jack Leslie comes into the side and he’ll get a really good look on the weekend," Dew told SUNS TV.
"We think he’s got a couple of matchups that will test him and he’ll be looking forward to that as well.”

The 19-year-old had 28 disposals, eight tackles and a goal to help get the SUNS over the line against the Southport Sharks.

Saturday will mark a historic moment for the club, with three Gold Coast teams facing the GWS Giants on Saturday.
The senior side play at Spotless Stadium at 4.35pm, while the NEAFL team play the curtain-raiser at 1.10pm.
