Fremantle's Bradley Hill has been ruled out of Saturday's game against Gold Coast at Optus Stadium.

The midfielder sustained a minor knee injury when the Dockers took on Essendon last week.

He was caught in an awkward position during a tackle late in the game and looked to be in some pain.

"It's being investigated and at this stage, he'll be having this week off but we have good hopes for him returning quickly," High Performance Manager Jason Weber told the club's website.

A number of players will come into the mix, including Darcy Tucker, who had 28 disposals for Peel in the WAFL.
