On Saturday 1st June, the Gold Coast SUNS will host the first ever Homeless Sleep out event on the Gold Coast.

The Gold Coast SUNS will open the Metricon Stadium gates with the general public invited to watch the Club’s Round 10 match against the Geelong Cats (played in Victoria) on the big screen in the Southern Plaza before rolling out their sleeping bags and spending the night under the stars, all for a good cause.

The event will commence at 6pm – with a gold coin donation required upon entry, with all funds donated to the Clubs three nominated Youth Homeless charities.

There will be live entertainment prior to and during breaks in the game, with food and drink available for purchase throughout the night.
So grab your family, friends and work colleagues and experience life as more than 750 homeless youth do each night on the Gold Coast.

Horizon program partners Rotary 9640 Gold Coast will also provide a soup kitchen on the night at the conclusion of the game, prior to everyone setting up their sleeping quarters.

The Homeless sleep out is a Horizons Program initiative.
