To mark the start of Domestic Violence Awareness Month and officially launch our Domestic Violence Prevention Round, goldcoastfc.com.au has actioned a ‘white out’.
Where possible, goldcoastfc.com.au has stripped back the colour across its digital assets in a hope to spark the attention of members, fans and the Gold Coast community.
Why? Because one in three women experience physical or sexual violence by someone known to them, and this terrifying trend is on the rise.
Chances are you know someone effected by Domestic or Family Violence.
It is our hope that by actioning this small change, it will instigate much needed conversations around Domestic Violence.
We want people to make a stand that Domestic Violence is not acceptable, Not Now Not Ever.
To mark the launch of this initiative SUNS players Steven May, Michael Rischitelli and Touk Miller alongside Rodney Eade, Marcus Ashcroft and Gold Coast Board member Samantha Riley participated in an awareness video reinforcing their position on Domestic Violence.
This Saturday, you can play your role.
$1 from every ticket sold to our round seven match against Geelong goes towards preventing Domestic Violence on the Gold Coast.
Let’s end this terrifying trend.
