To celebrate Gary Ablett’s approaching milestone match, the star Captain profiles five Gold Coast SUNS players he believes will assist in delivering Premiership success for the Gold Coast SUNS.

Each day in the lead-up to Saturday’s Round 20 clash against Melbourne, Ablett provides his insight and advice on how he feels some of the Club’s emerging stars have and continue to develop. 

First up Gary introduces mid-field partner David Swallow.

“David trains very hard, not just on the track but in the weights room as well, and sets a really good example for some of our young guys coming through,” Said Ablett.

“He’s part of the leadership group, and no doubt could be a future captain – he’s a true leader out there and we need guys like that to pull the young guns along and make sure we’re heading in the right direction.”
