The Gold Coast SUNS will head into Round 4 against Fremantle with no new injury concerns after a clean bill of health from the win against Adelaide on Sunday afternoon.
Ben Ainsworth left the field with a cork in the third quarter of the match but was able to return to the field shortly after some treatment.
Experienced campaigner Brandon Ellis made his successful return from a calf injury and played a strong hand in the midfield for the SUNS.
“It was pleasing to see all players come through both the AFL and scratch matches without any injury concerns,” SUNS Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull told the Qscan Injury Update.
“With a six-day week ahead of us the focus will be to recover at the start of the week before preparing for Round 4.”
In the scratch match earlier in the day, exciting forward Izak Rankine played his first match back after building enough fitness and impressed in his four quarters of game-time.
Remaining on the injury list are Anthony Miles (hamstring), George Horlin-Smith (foot) and Mitch Riordan (ACL).
